About

For over a decade I have been a keen naturalist, conservationist and observer of animal behaviour. My interest in photography was born as a by-product of my fascination with the drama and complexity of the natural world. Spending time working on various nature reserves in both Britain and Europe, I was in daily contact with plants and animals, which I really enjoyed recording onto film.
My interest in photography has since diversified, as this medium has enabled me to communicate to others not just the beauty and variety of life on Earth but also its importance.
In 2004 I began studying the subject of Wildlife Photography, finally receiving my BA (Hons) in 2006. This allowed me the time to become a bit of a theorist in the production of wildlife image making as well as a practicing photographer.
I currently produce images for stock library use and illustration, as well as producing fine art prints celebrating nature at its finest.
